I am a native of San Jose, who's family has lived here over 5 generations and coming up on over 100 years of service and dedication to “The Valley of Hearts Delights.” I am the last of my family to have been raised on a working orchard. I have a unique perspective on where San Jose came from. Having worked in the technology industry in a IT specialist role the last 17 years, I have an even better idea of where it's going.
Like many of you, the boom ended for me in 2001, 2 weeks after purchasing my house. Like many San Jose families, my wife and I had to learn how to cut back so we wouldn't lose everything we worked so hard for. No more lunches at fancy restaurants, or lavish trips. Brown bag lunches and road trips are the norm for us now.
The greatest threat to district 9 right now is simple. Service cuts due to the over $112 million dollar deficit in city hall right now. How did it happen? The reasons are abundant, but to put it all into one simple term.
While the boom ended for you and me, it didn't for the CSJ government.
Right now San Jose needs a transition. We need people who already know what sacrifice is. We need people without any ties to political agendas, special interests or the last 10 years of government. We one of us to represent our needs in San Jose.

If you choose me as your elected official I will work hard to set the balance of things from the government and back to the people of San Jose.
-
I will streamline bureaucracy businesses have to go through with our city government by making sure every type of permit is available for purchase online.
-
I will bring businesses and education back to the same table, so our schools are again teaching the skills business desires
-
I will vote to only spend on new projects we actually have money for, no more spending money we don't have.
-
I will vote down any business bailouts
